Olivia Cimino, MA, AMFT
Marriage & Family Therapist
I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University with an emphasis in Health Psychology. I have been providing therapeutic services in a variety of settings since 2019, including school settings and mental health clinic settings. My clinical training provides extensive experience working with adults, adolescents and children.
My approach to psychotherapy includes an integrative model utilizing evidence-based treatments. I have experience working with people struggling with mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, life transitions, relationship issues, grief and loss, body image, and self-confidence issues. I am passionate about helping people identify their strengths and explore what is holding them back from finding happiness, purpose, and fulfillment in their lives. I meet clients exactly where they are in their journey and explore their inner world alongside them while providing a non-judgemental, calm, and safe environment to process vulnerable and difficult emotions that may come up along the way. I find value in building rapport with my clients and having a therapeutic relationship based on trust and respect.
I am currently prelicensed and I receive clinical supervision from Dr. Shereen Mohsen, Psy.D.
