I earned a Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited graduate program at the American School of Professional Psychology in Orange County, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton. I am currently a clinical psychology postdoctoral fellow supervised by Dr. Shereen Mohsen, Psy.D. Throughout my education and career I have worked with teens and adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety and mood disorders, grief and loss, and trauma. I work with couples looking to improve their relationship by addressing issues such as, communication, trust, and intimacy.
I provide a safe space for my clients to express their emotions and experiences, because I believe this is fundamental in fostering the therapeutic relationship. In sessions, my goal is for clients to feel heard and understood, while we gain insight into difficult problems and learn new skills to facilitate the changes the client desires.
Language: I am fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi.
